Beate Juell works with sculptures in ceramics, and she expresses herself mainly through recognizable motifs and figurations. She is concerned with the non-verbal communication that occurs between the viewer and the visual artwork. Being able to convey something, a mood, experience or state, without using words, is a key objective for the artist.
