Hurvin Anderson: Salon Paintings
Kistefos is delighted to announce the first solo exhibition in the Nordic countries of paintings and drawings by acclaimed British artist Hurvin Anderson. Salon Paintings surveys Anderson’s celebrated Barbershop Series, from the earliest Barbershop paintings and related Studio Drawings he made in 2006, through to new paintings on view for the first time with which the series culminates.
Pipilotti Rist - Lobe Of The Lung
Nybruket Gallery presents an immersive multi-channel video installation by the renowned Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist. Through large video projections and digital manipulation, she has developed immersive installations that draw life from slow caressing showers of vivid colour tones.
Has My Place Forgotten Me?
Through the "Springbrett" project, young curators are offered an opportunity to exhibit at Kistefos. Through an OPEN CALL, curators aged 21-35 were invited to submit their exhibition concepts based on works from the Christen Sveaas' Art Foundation.

The Twist
The Twist is designed by the architects in Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and is a unique exhibition space with varied light sources and a view of the Randselva river. The gallery twists at the midway point into a sculptural form, crossings the river in a 60-meter span.

Nybruket Gallery
Nybruket Gallery is located in one of the old factory buildings of A/S Kistefos Træsliberi. The industrial heritage has been preserved, creating a beautiful framework for the art.
