Kistefos Museum

Kistefos is a cultural destination with a twist, offering world-class architecture, industrial history, art exhibitions, and an impressive sculpture park in scenic surroundings. Kistefos is situated in a unique location in the Norwegian woods, 45 minutes' drive from the Oslo Airport.

The Twist

The award-winning gallery The Twist is a gallery, a bridge over the river and a sculpture all in one. The 1000 square meter building spans 60 meters across the Randselca river, twisting at the midway point. The building was designed by the Danish star architects BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, and has won several awards for its cutting edge design. In a harmonious interplay of woodland nature, The Twist is a very beautiful showroom with varied light sources and views of the river.
