Installation

Kyllingstad’s sculpture originates from Kistefos’ old wood pulp industry. The parts it is comprised of were all found on the Kistefos site and stem from the pulp mill’s actual production. From this perspective, Installation is the oldest sculpture in Kistefos’s continually growing sculpture park.

Anchored in a historical perspective, the sculpture reads as a symbol of progress, innovation, and new prosperity. But the sculpture can also be read as an abstracted flower, a sun or a giant button.
