Welcome to our Planet! can be seen as a commentary on the ongoing environmental debate. The artist Shintaro Miyake reminds us of how important it is to recycle to avoid environmental degradation.

Around a well-used waste station for transparent glass stand hundreds of small, red aliens. Along with the station, which has been given arms and legs, they welcome the museum’s visitors to “their” world.
