Stallion extends itself towards the sky with wide-open eyes. All muscles are tense in a rearing movement and only one hoof touches the ground. The horse’s pose testifies that something has happened or will happen. The upturned movement can represent energy and life or mark a last spasm before the horse falls over and life fades away. Does the horse represent an entrance into life or an exit from life?

The sculpture is made of several materials, including stainless steel and porcelain. The combination contributes to a varied surface with both rough and smooth areas, which adds to the illusion of movement and life.
